(More customer reviews)My grandmothers had good meat grinders.I thought this would be comparable.What a mistake!!It's a piece of junk.The workmanship on the product is extremely poor!There are burrs on the metal that cut into the surface you mount the grinder to.The handle and the blades do not fit securely because the alignment is off.It's impossible to turn the handle (even when attempting to grind potatoes and onions).Not one piece of beef went through the grinder without plugging.And, any "juice" generated when attempting to grind, leaks out the back (again because of poor alignment and fit of the grinder components).It's true...they don't make things like the used to.Perhaps I can use this as a boat anchor.I'd look at garage or estate sales if you want an old fashioned heavy duty meat grinder!
