(More customer reviews)My first impression on getting this unit was that it was a good quality machine.A nice step up from the stand mixer attachment.I started noticing a couple of short falls when I used it for the first time.The food pusher can be a bit tricky to keep from pulling the lid off if the meat gets a bit sticky in the grinder.

The smallest sausage stuffer tube is too large for breakfast links or other small sausages.I also found out (after quite a bit of difficulty in contacting the manufacturer) that this is not a standard size grinder.It is very close to a standard #8 grinder, but not quite, so you can't purchase additional sausage stuffing tubes, grinder plates, or replacement blades when the originals wear down.

Bottom line is that the unit seems solid and adequate for a basic grinder if you don't expect to use it much, or have a need/desire to purchase additional attachments.If you plan to do much grinding or sausage making, however, I would go for one of the grinders that is a standard size, so you have ready access to additional attachments and replacement blades and knives.

Summary: damn fine product and delivery.I'm an Amazon prime buyer.I deviate from that with caution. This deviation produced a second buy.In time, I suspect many other purchases.

(More customer reviews)This is a nice product - it's heavier & larger than I would have expected, but it is simple to use.

It juices pretty much everything, and the pulp that is left over is really quite dry - more so than a lot of the centrifugal juicers I have used.

I went for this model over some of the others because I wanted something that was a little more multipurpose. So far I have made several batches of pasta with it - really rather good too!

Cleaning is straightforward, there's not that many nooks & crannies to get worked up about, the screen cleans easily with any soft brush, the toothbrush supplied is good enough.

In all there's the outer housing for the auger, the auger itself, the screen and the end cap & nozzle. These parts have all made it through the dishwasher - the screen is the only piece you really need to do by hand... the other bits all seem to come perfectly clean with a good rinse in hot water (after juicing, anyway).

The auger does it's job nicely, the motor seems to be suitably powerful.

About as loud as a regular food processor.

The only thing I would say is that perhaps the buttons should be sealed.

The instruction manual is simplistic, but there are a wealth of recipes available elsewhere.

(More customer reviews)The item is cast iron with a silver (spray paint like) coating.The pork and beef really stick to it well.The meat pusher does not fit well into stuffer so meat is not forced into the casing.The end of the stuffer is angled so the last pound of meat is never stuffed into the casing.I wasted my money buying this hard to clean stuffer.
